My grandmothers have been a huge source of inspiration for me as well as women such as Hanna Kroeger, for example. Some people say she was way ahead of her time, or have we been going backwards for far too long?

In the early 1950s, Hanna Kroeger moved her family to the States. After a brief stint in Wisconsin and Michigan, she moved to Boulder Co. and opened one of the first health food stores in America.. She would sell whole foods, herbs and vitamins in bulk and consult with customers. She was a natural healer with boundless energy.
