According to recent statistics, the US has more available jobs than qualified applicants for many occupations. In addition, there are more openings for these jobs in the future, which potentially means higher salaries, more job security, and greater opportunities for advancement. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are about 324 occupations with a high rate of job growth. Out of these, 12 are considered to be in high demand and are expected to experience an average annual growth rate of more than nine percent.

According to the report, there are more than 2.6 million unfilled positions in the United States. While unemployment is still low at 3.6%, there are still millions of jobs available. This lack of workers is due to retirements and the recent coronavirus pandemic. In response to this situation, many Americans have begun to reassess what types of jobs are most important. Recently, job search website Glassdoor released its list of the 50 Best Jobs in America. To qualify for the list, a job must have at least one hundred Glassdoor reviews within the last year and have at least two thousand job openings as of mid-December.

Among the most popular jobs in the country right now are retail salespeople. These individuals are responsible for guiding shoppers to the products they need. They also assist with payments. While there are a variety of different positions in retail, the majority of these jobs don’t require much more than a high school diploma. Others require certifications or state or federal licensing to gain entry into the field. The list also provides supporting data regarding average hourly wages and average annual wages. The BLS calculates average annual wages by multiplying average hourly wages by the number of weeks in the year and the number of years a person works.
